Patient Treatment
Treatment provided to each patient of Life Balance Chiropractic is gentle and neurologically powerful. Experience the difference of 21st century Chiropractic techniques that can be used on babies, children, tennagers, adults and the elderly.
First Visit
The first visit will entail the Chiropractor listening to your history and any concerns that you may have. This is based about getting a good understanding of the prospective patient. It is all about the patient relaying information, what they want out of the coming to a Chiropractor at Life Balance Chiropractic.
Second Visit
Visit two is the day of education and build on the first treatment. All people will receive a phone call after the first visit to make sure they ready to go for the second visit. A review of x-ray will be perfomed and recommendations for your care provided.
Subsequent Visits
Subsequent visits will be 10 minutes long and they can incorporate a number of different techniques in the session. If necessary a longer session may be required, and that will be called an extended appointment.
Kinesiology
Applied kinesiology is a system that evaluates structural, chemical, and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing. A positive muscle test can be correlated with a change in leg length. This can be related to any neurological asymmetry in the body.
Neurolink
Neurolink works on the principle that the brain governs the optimum function of the body's systems. The treatment is painless, relaxing and powerful. Are you 100% healthy and firing on all cylinders? Or have you been around the medical "merry go round" or just not feeling at your best?
Kinesio taping
Kinesio tape mimics the qualities of the skin. Wouldn't it be great to strengthen a muscle without thinking about it. While the tape is on it is giving you a therapeutic affect 24/7.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the one of the oldest forms of therapy in modern health care today. By increasing the flow in the body acupuncture, over thousands of years, has proven to promote the body's own healing powers. By removing the blockages in the body, communication through out the body is enhanced. The flow of a stream or a river can be slowed by driftwood or blocked with large trees or sandbars. Stimulation at these areas of congestion or poor communication will harness optimal healing.
It is recognised in current research that the presence of scar tissue is a major obstacle to returning an injury or weakness back to full function. Acupuncture is a superb tool to pierce the layers of scar tissue and gently removing the scarring, by either needling stimulation or placing heat on the end of needles to deliver warmth to the area.
