Life by Design Personal Coaching is a transformational coaching business with a difference.

I bring together all the best from the Cognitive-Behavioural science field of Neuro-Semantics, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Developmental psychology and Self Actualization psychology to facilitate and get to the heart of what really matters to people in order to develop, unleash and actualize their potentials.

I facilitate my client’s desire to transform and access their authentic self to feel and be who they are and can become in their true purpose, direction and intention.

About Leesa Melchert
My lifelong passion for health, fitness and wellbeing and an innate desire to help others lead me to start my Personal Training business almost ten years ago. Throughout this time, I have inspired, motivated and educated my clients to make a lifelong commitment to their health and wellbeing.

Although I have empowered my clients in many ways, it became clear that their scales tipped too far in one direction and they wanted to readdress the balance in their lives but weren’t exactly sure how to do it.
I quickly came to the realization that we were only dealing with the physical aspects of keeping ourselves healthy and ignoring the emotional dimension.

As a consequence, my path has lead me to become an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner and an Associate Certified Meta-coach. Here we explore the mind-body-emotional state and how our thoughts, beliefs and emotions (inner game) affects our behaviour, actions and performance (outer game). These states make up our lives in whatever field or facet of life we’re engaged in eg: work, personal life, health etc.

I have since started Life By Design, an Holistic Health and Transformational Coaching business. This type of coaching is about becoming masterful in mind, body, emotion and spirit - becoming “the best you” that you can be, finding and actualizing your highest potential and achievements, learning to be fully authentic and living your life in line with your values.

This has proven invaluable for individuals who are ready to do whatever it takes to make a change in their life - to readdress the balance in their personal and professional lives and to deepen their learnings, improve their performance and quality of life.

My Philosophy
I believe that my personal integrity, congruent authenticity and ruthless compassion for my clients will allow them the space to rise to their very best where they can welcome self actualization and transformation.

I empower my clients to challenge current realities and invite them to explore new possibilities as we focus on higher thoughts, beliefs and meanings and explore understandings, expectations and values.
I believe their coaching experience should be highly outcome focused, inspirational and rewarding.

Transformational Coaching

Health Coaching
The key to a healthy and happy lifestyle is achieving a good balance of physical and emotional wellbeing, nutrition and living life aligned with your values. It is having a sense of vitality and the ability to cope with life’s twists and turns with energy and enthusiasm. It is all encompassing. Good health is not by chance but by choice.

Based on four key elements:

Functional Exercise
The emphasis is on training your body to better perform the types of movements you use in everyday life. Developing dynamic strength, flexibility and agility are the keys to carrying over into your daily activities. Functional movement is the most effective movement for the path to optimal health and wellbeing.

Health/Nutrition
What you put into your bodies has a direct impact on the quality and longevity of your life. When you change your diet, you change everything. Food choices affect your ability to maintain a healthy body weight, prevent and recover from illness and regulate moods. A balanced diet promotes balance in mind, body and spirit.

Mind/Emotions

Values identify what is important to you, while beliefs are what you believe to be true about that value. NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Therapy
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is an extraordinary and cutting edge set of tools based on the discovery that in changing how you think, will also change what you think.
