Counselling

These feelings can often be overwhelming and can make you feel isolated and helpless.

It may be difficult to seek help, leaving you feeling hopeless about ever feeling better.

I believe that relief from suffering is possible by talking to a trained counsellor who can understand and respect your individual circumstances without judgement.

In sharing your problems, you will begin to feel less alone and overwhelmed by your feelings.

You may feel relief after your first meeting with your counsellor as you vent your feelings and concerns and gain some understanding into why you feel the way you do.

As an experienced therapist, I offer people the opportunity to explore their difficulties and to find solutions within a safe confidential relationship.

Art Therapy

Many people find it difficult to put their feelings into words. This can make it hard to tell the therapist / counsellor how you feel.

Art Therapy is a type of counselling that involves the use of art materials to communicate thoughts and feelings.

You do not need to be an artist to use Art Therapy. Your own thoughts and feelings will naturally direct your art-making. You do not require any particular ability or skills to use Art Therapy. You also do not need any previous experience of art - your art making in the session will be your ‘voice’ and will reflect how you are feeling at the time.

Art Therapy is often experienced as a more comfortable way of engaging in therapy as some of the session time is spent making art, which can feel easier than having to talk directly to a counsellor.
