About Lorraine:
Lorraine is a qualified and experienced Counsellor who has been working with Individuals and Couples on the Northern Beaches for many years. She is a Clinical Member of CAPA NSW Inc.15165.
Lorraine trained at the Australian College of Applied Psychology, graduating with a Diploma in Counselling and Communication.
She incorporates the modalities of CBT, Psychodynamic, Existential, Systems, Gestalt and related others into her practice skills and adapts the modalities to suit the varying needs of her clients.
As well as conducting Private Practice, Lorraine has worked in Family Support Services and has gained extensive experience in Conflict Resolution, Mediation and Crisis Intervention as well as short and medium term counselling with clients.
Lorraine believes that everyone has the capacity for change and if clients have the willingness and commitment to working through their issues then positive outcomes evolve.
Appointments:
Clients do not need referrals, however do need to phone for appointments. Some evening and weekend appointments are available on request. Home visit sessions can be arranged when appropriate.
