SERVICES

Welcome to Infinite Healing

Reiki Treatments

Reiki is simple, non-invasive supportive and gentle and enhances a person’s natural healing ability.

While Reiki is a powerful method of treatment promoting wellbeing, it is also safely used to support orthodox and complementary medicine.

Receiving Reiki does not require you to undergo any special type of preparation before receiving. Everyone remains fully clothed and in comfortable surroundings.

A full session is usually between one to one and one-half hours. Throughout the session Reiki is shared by the practitioner, placing their hands around the head and torso of the person receiving.

Responses and effects are as varied as the people who come to receive and a person’s experience is as unique as the person receiving. Commonly a deep sense of relaxation and peace often pervades.

Reiki Training

Reiki Jin Kei Do is a spiritual discipline and healing art. The practice is born out of the experience of the founder Dr Mikao Usui.

Dr Mikao Usui born in the 1860’s, studied and travelled widely in search of healing methods used by spiritual leaders.

In the early 1900's, he rediscovered an ancient healing method. Through study, research and meditation, Mikao was empowered to pass on a healing system he developed based on the ancient teachings he discovered.

Reiki Jin Kei Do continues to be taught by recognised masters initiated into the Jin Kei Do lineage whose personal and professional lives are committed to the practice as a spiritual discipline, healing art and a way of life.

Jin means compassion, Kei means wisdom and Do is a way or path. Therefore the Jin Kei Do lineage is a practice of Reiki with compassion and wisdom in a balanced way, integrating all three and applying them in one's life. It becomes a way of life rather than another healing method.

Counselling/Psychotherapy

Our bodies are imbued with the imprints of life experience in the cells, the DNA.

The aim of mindfulness practices in the psychotherapeutic relationship is to create a safe environment for you to experience release of imprints that no longer serve in a wholesome way.

Mindfulness practices lead to the development of compassion. As you feel compassion for yourself and past choices made, this opens your heart to compassion for others.

This leads to a desire for cooperation at the micro level of the cells of the body and the macro level of your local community extending to the global community.

More info about Lynette

Lynette is a Reiki Jin Kei Do Master and has a background in health, natural therapies, rebirthing and attitudinal healing.

She received training and initiation into first and second stages in Usui Shiki Ryoho (also know as the Usui System of Reiki Healing) in 1985. After organising and attending workshops for four years as part of her extensive training, Lynette was initiated as a Usui Shiki Ryoho Master in August of 1989.

Her dedication and commitment to Reiki led Lynette in 1995 to begin training and receive initiations in a Usui system of Reiki known as Reiki Jin Kei Do.

The Jin Kei Do lineage was passed from Dr Hayashi to a Japanese Zen monk, the Venerable Takeuchi. He in turn trained and initiated another Zen monk Venerable Seji Takemori, who later trained and passed on this ancient method of healing to Dr Ranga Premaratna, the present lineage bearer.

Lynette embraces and embodies Reiki Jin Kei Do as well as her lineage through Marta Getty, Phyllis Lei Furumoto and Hawayo Takata. While both lineages’ hold spiritual qualities and similarities in form and practice, there are also differences. Lynette’s focus and practice is now Reiki Jin Kei Do.

Since 2000 Lynette has played a key role in a national and global move towards establishing standards for professional treatment practice of Reiki that embraces the richness of the diversity of the practices of Reiki as defined by the respective lineage bearers and founders.

Lynette completed training in a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Buddhist Psychotherapy in 2005.

Through both her Reiki and counseling practice Lynette has dedicated her life to bringing new (yet ancient) consciousness into her own and others lives, thereby assisting the awakening of our spiritual potential.
