Aromatherapy
The healing effects of a massage can be greatly enhanced with the use of 100% pure essential oils as used in Aromatherapy. The massage techniques used are very gentle and help to achieve deep relaxation or stimulation depending on the oils chosen.
Sports/ Remedial
A firm deep tissue massage for treatment of soft tissue injuries, muscular aches and pains. Postural analysis, assessment of muscle imbalances and stretching can also be incorporated a treatment.
Lymphatic Drainage
A rhythmic and relaxing massage following a network of lymphatic drainage paths over the body to help in the elimination of waste of fluid build-up from the body’s tissues. A very relaxing technique that does not require the use of oil.
Myofascial Therapy
A slow, gentle stretching of the connective tissue that surrounds every muscle of the body. Tightness in the body’s connective tissue can cause restriction & imbalances in other areas of the entire body. This technique is performed without oil.
Trigger Point Therapy
Specific treatment for soft tissue aches and pains by palpating and stretching the tender areas to improve movement and reduced pain. This treatment is usually combined with a sports/remedial massage.
Foot Reflexology
Based on the principle that there are reflex points on the feet that correspond to all organs, glands & structures of the body. A thumb & finger technique is used to relieve stress & tension & to help correct any imbalances within your body. A foot bath, foot scrub & foot massage is included.
Bowen Therapy
Bowen is a gentle technique that does not require the use of oil and can be carried out through light clothing, or directly on the skin. This method can be used for effectively for a wide variety of conditions with relative no contraindications.
