Martina Chippindall has over 30 years experience working in the health industry with most of this in the area of food and nutrition. For much longer she has been eating and enjoying food and she brings this delight to all her consultations.

Martina's training and experience as a dietitian means she is able to assist you in the prevention and management of those medical conditions related to or affected by the food we eat.

These include:

• weight management (losing, gaining or simply staying the same)
• irritable bowel
• diabetes
• impaired glucose tolerance
• PCOS
• high cholesterol and triglycerides (lipids)
• coeliac disease and gluten sensitivity
• optimum nutrition
• loss of appetite or poor appetite
• building up your nutritional status after surgery

Martina is recognised for her unique approach to working with people. Not only will you gain a greater understanding of food and nutrition, you will also be able to make sense of all the information and advice you've been given. She has found over the years that managing health is made easier when people understand what is going on, when they know what the results of their blood tests mean or what possible side effects the drugs they've been prescribed may have. She can also assist you in formulating the questions to ask the doctor.

Everyone is different so the aim of any consultation is to find out what works best for you in the context of your life. This takes time and this is what Martina offers.
