SERVICES MASSAGE:
• Zen Thai Shiatsu massage - a relaxing and energising full body massage treatment combining Zen Shiatsu techniques and Traditional Thai massage techniques, done on a large floor mat with your clothes on.
Zen Shiatsu techniques focus on working acupressure points to release stagnancy and blockages on the energy meridian lines. This helps to tone the body's organs, thus assisting your body's natural healing mechanisms by allowing them to do their job more effectively.
Traditional Thai massage includes techniques that massage and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons to help mobilize the joints and release tension in your body .
• Remedial Massage Therapy - with sensitivity to healing tissues,
• Deep tissue massage - to release long time tension and holding ,
• Sports massage,
• Swedish/Relaxation massage - soothing and relaxing,
• Lymphatic Drainage - moving toxins
Not feeling your best? Let me help you get better.
Experience a whole body massage that will assist your body to naturally heal itself. I’ll give you a unique blend of the above massage modalities specifically suited to your needs that will enhance the free flow of energy throughout your body.
How will improving the flow of energy in my body help me heal myself?
By improving the flow of energy along the body's energy meridians the organs and tissues of the body will be toned to function more effectively, helping you release stagnancy and physical or emotional resistance (or blockages), which will allow your body’s natural healing mechanism to function better.
Will massage help me?
Yes! The massage session encourages the body to reset and heal itself. It consists of a series of precise moves on the skin (or through light clothing), applied to acupressure points on the energy meridians, plus massaging, stretching and mobilization of muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and joints.
A wide range of problems can be successfully treated, the most common ones are headache, neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, sciatica and knee pain but non-muscular issues can also be treated.

Yoga has become a lifelong calling for me. Yoga is my 'health insurance', it helps to bring peace and balance to my life.
I teach Hatha yoga based on my varied yoga experience and ongoing Iyengar teacher training. The classes I teach are suitable for people of all ages and all degrees of flexibility and yoga experience.
Classes are based on the teaching of Yogacharya BKS Iyengar, each class is designed to provide asana (yoga 'pose') sequences that will benefit you by:
• activating your body's muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints,
• toning your body's organs,
• stretching and toning your body's energy meridians,
• improving your flexibility,
• improving your posture,
• improving your concentration, and
• helping relieve the stress and strain of your everyday life.
Iyengar classes incorporate the use of props (such as blocks, belts, bolsters and blankets) to allow students of all ages and degrees of flexibility to access correct body alignment when practicing the yoga asanas (poses). Iyengar yoga classes particularly focus on correct body alignment, asana sequences that may target on particular health issues or particular areas of your body, timing within each asana and within the sequence, and breathing techniques.
I've been practicing yoga for over eight years, and have been a devotee of the Iyengar system since 2002. I commenced my formal teacher training in 2007 with a Senior Iyengar teacher. I've been teaching yoga for over two years around the Brisbane area.
I'm still in the early stages of a progression that may take decades to fulfil. My intention is to continue to develop and improve as a practitioner and teacher for both my own well-being and to better educate and motivate my students.
I'm presently a 'teacher in training' and hold a Level 1 certification from the BKS Iyengar Association of Australia. I continue ongoing teacher training to prepare for the next level assessment under Senior Teacher and mentor Simon Marrocco, of St Kilda Iyengar Yoga School. Simon has received direct training from the yoga master BKS Iyengar so that his understanding comes direct from the source of knowledge. This means that my teaching is faithful to the teaching of BKS Iyengar and is similar to all other Iyengar teachers throughout the world. QUALIFICATION DETAILS Diploma Remedial Massage Therapy (2007)
