Welcome to KINGS ARCADE Chinese Medicine Clinic

We are an experienced medical clinic based in Armadale, Victoria, that specialises in Traditional Chinese Medicine; this ranges from acupuncture through to food and herbal therapy and various types of massage, such as Shiatsu and more traditional forms. We are here to help you and guide you so don't be shy and visit us in person. Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on Chinese medical theories, principals, substances and treatments.

There are a number of treatment techniques used in Chinese Medicine, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine being the most well known.

Why choose Chinese Medicine?

Herbs help improve the quality of our health, many of today’s drugs are sourced from them. Chinese Medicine was not developed by any particular individual; rather, it grew out of the necessity of maintaining good health among the Chinese people. The ancient Chinese, like all of us, had to struggle against diseases in order to stay in good health. In the process, they came to see the benefits of consuming herbs--- Chinese herbology, inserting needles in the body--Chinese acupuncture, eating the right foods-- Chinese food cures, massaging the body-- Chinese manipulative therapy and exercising the body--Qi-gong and tai-chi.

Chinese herbology posits that all disease stems from imbalance occurring in the organ system. The healthy body, with the properly functioning immune system, is more than capable of combating the viruses it is exposed to. A properly balanced system will resist and destroy bacteria before they cause disease. Illness simply cannot exist if the body is in harmony. Chinese herbal theory holds that an unhealthy body requires herbal and dietary treatments to restore and maintain this essential balance. Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine treats the whole person rather then individual symptoms. There are classic formulas to treat common problems, but most prescriptions are individually formulated to stimulate the body’s natural healing powers.

Acupuncture

A healthy alternative to Botox

Acupuncture face-lifts have many benefits over major Western cosmetic procedures. First, it is a completely natural procedure that does not involve the use of dangerous chemicals. Secondly, there is no recovery time from acupuncture. Thirdly, it does not produce any scar tissue which can block the flow of energy through your meridians or channels and causing potential damage to your health. We can promise you that you will retain full use of your facial muscles, so you can form any expression that you want.
