Meg Thompson Naturopathy

Meg is a qualified Naturopath who uses herbal and nutritional medicine to guide her patients to their optimum state of wellness. Her focus is to empower her patients with the knowledge and motivation necessary to achieve their health goals.

Meg is passionate about the use of whole foods in her treatment plans, encouraging the use of nutrient-dense traditional foods and their healing properties. Although she enjoys treating all conditions, Meg has a special interest in women’s and children's health.

Meg is a registered member of the NHAA (National Herbalists Association of Australia).


Naturopathy

Naturopathy encourages the body’s own healing potential to address mental, emotional and physical imbalance.

Treating the cause of ill health is central to naturopathic philosophy, and there is emphasis on disease prevention.

Gentle, non-invasive therapies are used such as herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, diet and lifestyle advice, flower essences, physical examinations of the tongue and nails, and iridology.

What to expect from a consultation

The initial consultation takes one hour.

A thorough case history is taken which explores all aspects of health including current and past conditions, as well as the effect of external factors such as stress, diet, lifestyle and the environment.

Physical examinations may include iris, tongue and nail analysis, zinc testing, blood pressure, temperature and heart rate.

A holistic treatment plan is tailored to each individual and may include dietary suggestions, shopping lists, recipes, lifestyle considerations, and herbal and nutritional medicines where needed.

Please bring to your consultation any recent medical tests, as well as details of any prescribed medications that you are taking.

Initial consultation - $80
Follow up consultation - $55

Private health rebates available

Any medicines prescribed are priced individually.
