SERVICES
Enjoy the Benefits of Chinese Medicine

Based on thousands of years of clinical trial and error, Chinese medicine has evolved into a very effective range of therapies for conditions commonly seen today.
Treatments are aimed at relaxing excessive tension and nourishing weakness. As a general rule, herbal remedies treat fatigue and “internal” conditions such as digestive problems, while physical therapies such as massage and acupuncture treat aches and pains and “external” conditions such as injuries and arthritis.
Lifestyle advice is also offered to improve and maintain wellness.

Roots and Branches

Roots and branches, leaves and flowers make up most of the medicinal substances used in Chinese herbal medicine. The concept of “roots and branches” also guides Chinese medicine treatment.
Herbal formulas are specifically selected and tailored for each person’s individual experience of their illness.
Some herbs treat the “root” (underlying cause) while other herbs treat the “branches” (symptoms). This approach is used to not only relieve symptoms and resolve the problem but also to prevent recurrence.
You can experience relief and long-term recovery from your condition under the care of a highly trained herbalist.
Health maintenance programs are also available.

Hands and Needles
Massage and acupuncture provide effective relief for muscular stiffness and soreness, joint pain and restricted mobility.
Michael and Ryoko employ “tried and true” traditional practices alongside modern techniques to achieve the best possible results.
Enjoy the benefits of relaxation or therapeutic treatment from an experienced practitioner and feel the difference.
