I practice Five Element Acupuncture which is a traditional system of acupuncture that has remained unchanged since it was practised on China's emperors many centuries ago. It seeks to find the cause of a person's dis-ease, rather than only treat the physical symptoms. Often physical symptoms arise as a result of emotional turmoil, stress or dissatisfaction with life.
Five element acupuncture is a holistic system that treats the body, mind and spirit. This means that treatment brings about relief from symptoms in the body and also gives a sense of wellbeing and balance between the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of a person.
Many people come to acupuncture for help with specific symptoms. These may include anxiety, depression, arthritis, asthma, back and neck pain, joint pain, digestive disorders, high blood pressure, infertility, hormonal imbalances, menopausal symptoms, migraines, lethargy, sporting injuries and stress management. Others come to acupuncture as a preventive measure, to strengthen their constitution or because they feel generally unwell in themselves.
I treat all of the above issues and particularly enjoy assisting people in reaching their full potential in areas of health, personal growth and in seeking out their life path.
I also practice Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. This is used to give the facial features a "natural lift" and is a natural and safe alternative to botox.
I trained at the School of Five Element Acupuncture in London and graduated in 1998.
I practice from Cammeray on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from Double Bay on Wednesdays and Fridays.
