Massage and Minds on Marsh is a boutique style clinic in a beautifully renovated bungalow style cottage within walking distance to the centre of Armidale. You will be able to relax in this tranquil environment with clean, hygienic surroundings and peaceful, private treatment rooms.
Massage and Minds is a established clinic and we are dedicated massage therapists interested in the health and wellbeing of our clients. Ours is a holistic approach and we offer both "mind" and "body" work in one practice, we believe that once the body has had a chance to relax it has an impact on the mind.
We provide the following complementary therapies and would like to explain their benefits:
Swedish Massage is a gentle form of massage used for general relaxation, stress reduction, removal of muscular tension and health management.
Remedial or Therapeutic Massage is an extension of Swedish Massage using more pressure and different techniques (Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial release) for pain relief, rehabilitation, improved muscle function and mobility.
Sports Massage is used for injury prevention, pre and post sports event preparation and recovery, flexibility, endurance and increased performance. An athlete’s training programme can be enhanced through massage or his/her performance optimised.
Aromatherapy Massage includes essential oils with a specialised massage technique. Certain oils are blended for each individual with the aim of achieving a restorative effect.
Pregnancy Massage pregnancy puts alot of stresses on the body of women and massage can help to relieve some of those 'aches and pains'.
Massage is often described as a language of touch and we use this positive approach with a range of problems including regular stress management for people in high-pressured positions, and pain management for clients suffering cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
We have the highest level of training and are recognised providers for most private health funds, and thus our clients are able to receive rebates.
