As a coach, mentor and energy practitioner, I offer you solid credentials, plus a wealth of life experience. I am a graduate of the 4-year Professional Studies Program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (USA), a Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and hold a Certificate in Time-Line Therapy.
Having lived and worked in 7 different countries and cultures, with the Australian Foreign Service and the United Nations, I bring to my work a depth of knowledge and compassion for our complexity as spiritual human beings. Session Options- 90-minute session of coaching plus energy work --- $150
- 2-hour session of coaching plus energy work --- $175
(this is designed for those who feel they require more in-depth coaching / discussion time)
- One-month of support --- $330 --- this entitles you to:
- a 2-hour session (in-person or distance) -- a combination of coaching and energy work (Brennan Healing Science)
- PLUS a follow-up 90-minute session (2 to 3 weeks later)
unlimited email contact with me for one month from the session date
- ongoing exploration together of your path of highest potential (via the North Node report which all clients receive)
Distance Sessions
If we are working at a distance:- We make an appointment time
- We then speak by phone, for the coaching part of the session, to explore your goals and intentions
- We then hang up and you will find a comfortable place to lie down for an hour to receive the energy transmission. Meanwhile I am in my therapy room, connecting with you energetically, as if you were there in front of me. I receive information through various avenues of high sense perception, and the work unfolds accordingly.
- We connect again by phone (or email) in the next day or so for 2-way feedback.
For all my new clients I send out (by email, fax or post) my consent form and client intake form. I ask that you send the forms back to me in advance of your first appointment. I find this a valuable part of the process as, by the time we commence your session, things are already “brewing” away and we avoid spending valuable time during your session on basic questions. Before your first session, you will also receive a report on the “North Node” of your astrological chart, which mirrors your soul’s purpose this lifetime.
I request payment on the day of the session(s). I accept cash, cheque, credit card or on-line deposit. If you prefer to pay on-line, I will send you my bank details.

About Miriam Schafer
Growing up in Brisbane, Australia, my interests lay in music and travel. After two overseas trips by the age of 21, I decided I wanted to live in Europe and I chose the Department of Foreign Affairs as my vehicle. First came a posting to Beijing in the early '80s and next Kathmandu, where I was one of a two-person team sent to establish the new Australian Embassy. Then, third time around, I got my wish: Vienna, city of my dreams!
Here I soaked up music and art like a sponge. I continued some voice studies and during this time developed a deep belief in the healing power of beauty and pleasure.
After a few years back in Brisbane, with Film Queensland, I returned to Vienna in 1990, this time joining the United Nations. I worked with UNRWA (the Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) and, after 5 years, during a time of renewed optimism in the Middle East peace process, this organization was transferred to the Gaza Strip.
Eighteen months later, I found myself at another crossroads and knew there was something more I was called to do. During the Vienna years I had become an avid reader of all things metaphysical and actively began a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.
So from Gaza, I moved to New York in 1998 and enrolled in the four-year Professional Studies Program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH) (the world's premier institute of hands-on energy healing and personal transformation). Initially, I had no intention of working in the healing arts but, as time progressed, I realised the power of the work and knew that it was leading to a new career.
Meanwhile, I had an exciting job with the Australian Trade Commission in Los Angeles for a few years, with lots of travel throughout North and South America. It was here in California that I became a fan of Deepak Chopra and learned more of the mind-body connection. I came home to Queensland in 2002 and set up my full-time practice in Noosa Heads.
In late 2005 I took 3 months off from my practice to accept a U.N. assignment to Beirut, Lebanon, to assist the investigation into Prime Minister Hariri’s assassination.
I have conducted seminars and workshops both in Australia and overseas, and my client base has become world-wide. I continue to enjoy the diversity of different cultures and the individual gifts we each bring to the planet, at the same time realising how alike and interconnected we all are.
I draw upon nature and design for my inspiration; my motto in life is: "Beauty Heals".
What is Brennan Healing Science ?
Brennan Healing Science is a healing modality based on the Human Energy-Consciousness System and its relationship to health and dis-ease, as developed by Dr. Barbara Ann Brennan.
This wholistic work combines high-sense perception skills and hands-on energy healing techniques to assist individuals with their personal process of healing. The practitioner draws on healing energies of the Universal Energy Field.
