Welcome to Momentum Coaching & Yoga.

Our philosophy and teachings are based on the ancient Yoga and Buddhist tradition of mindfulness ~ developing your present moment awareness ~ so you can experience a simpler, deeper sense of fulfilment and engagement in all aspects of life. We believe in the goodness and wisdom in each person, and we work with you to access yours. Our work helps people to make a profound difference in their own life and the lives of others.

Based in Fremantle, Western Australia our classes and programs, for both individuals and corporates, are run from various locations in the western suburbs. Our coaching services also extend to clients living in regional Australia and overseas, using internet technology. We warmly welcome new students and clients.

Weekend Winter Retreat • Living Yoga • 29-31 July 2011

Join us for a weekend-getaway at the Beacon Yoga Centre as we embrace all aspects of living a healthy, yoga-inspired lifestyle.

Facilitated by Natalie Snooke, our retreat gives you the opportunity to deepen your experience of yoga and brings you the tools to explore and integrate a more peaceful way of being into your life. Return home feeling relaxed, nourished and inspired.

This retreat is a wonderful way to deepen your yoga or meditation practice ~ beginners and experienced students welcome.

Early-bird special, all-inclusive rate is $370.00 (until 4 July) and thereafter $395.00.

What Is Coaching?

Coaching (also known as Life Coaching) is a guided process for personal development, designed to narrow the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Coaching is different to counselling or therapy. These approaches are helpful in understanding and processing - coaching goes one step further and commits you to taking action to make positive, lasting change. At Momentum, I offer you practical coaching support to:

  • clarify where you are at;

  • establish the direction you would like your work or life to take and;

  • to take the next steps forward.

What Can Yoga and Insight Meditation Do for You?

Hatha Yoga is a complete system of practices that includes physical postures (asana), posture alignment, breathwork (pranayama) and relaxation that anyone can learn. The hallmark of Hatha Yoga is the natural focus, balance and energy it creates - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Meditation teaches you how to understand your mind and is the systematic training of attention to develop concentration and mindfulness. Specifically, Insight Meditation (or vipassana) is meditation for cultivating insight and clarity about experience.

The immediate physical and mental benefits of yoga and meditation are well known. Over time, the more subtle benefits of yoga and meditation practice are profound - bringing a greater sense of contentment, well-being and better ability to handle the ups and downs of life.

At Momentum, we keep our class numbers small (maximum 15) to ensure you get quality teaching and personalised benefits.

  • People into yoga or meditation, seeking to make better sense of their journey.

About Natalie

With a corporate background in human resource management and training, I made the journey 'from my head to my heart' and understand the unique challenges involved in having a career, balancing life and knowing who you are. Joyfully, my own path continues to unfold - and helping others embark on this journey is my calling and true passion.

I am a fully qualified Yoga Teacher and Life Coach, recognised nationally by Yoga Australia and internationally by Yoga Alliance (200 Hours) and the International Coach Federation. I have been teaching and coaching since 2007. For more about 'my story' go to Natalie's biography
