Pelvic Power real core stability & strength Saturday May 26 3371 0560

Hello everyone,
How are you?
The room has become available at Bardon on Saturday May 26.
So .....seizing the opportunity, I am offering a morning on Pelvic Power with the Feldenkrais Method.

These lessons are deeply centring and grounding.

This will be the first of 2 such sessions and will focus on:
  • core stability & strength
  • feeling strong & contained
  • aligning and lengthening the spine
  • legs and arms feel lighter and free to do what they are designed to do
  • movement lessons in lying, sitting and standing
These lessons are deeply centring and grounding.

The second session booked for June 23 will focus on the pelvic floor and the sphincter muscles.
This session will be for women only.

You can come to one or both, as they are 'stand alone' programs and sequenced.

Morning tea will be provided.

Welcome to Movement & Voice

The Feldenkrais Method® of Awareness through Movement brings the fun and freedom back into movement. It can make movement an absolute pleasure!

It is known for its capacity to bring about ease and grace in everyday movement activities.
People seek it out for various reasons, often looking for relief from neck , shoulder and back pain, or wanting to become better at some favourite activity such as golf, dancing, walking etc.

The method originated in the 1940’s when Moshe Feldenkrasi, a well respected physicist, mechanical engineer and martial arts master in Europe became immobilised with serious knee injuries (his cruciate ligaments in fact). Feldenkrais then merged his acquired knowledge with his deep curiosity about biology, about how children develop and learn to move, and the human nervous system to develop the Feldenkrais Method®.

This modality is available in two ways:

  • in private one to one sessions with a certified Feldenkrais® practitioner .
  • and/or in group classes called Awareness through Movement lessons again with a certified Feldenkrais® practitioner / teacher

In Awareness Through Movement classes you learn ways of moving and resting which work better for you. Through guided lessons you will sense differences in the ways you move, recognise and let go of habitual patterns and develop new approaches. The Feldenkrais Method®. can address specific difficulties or improve the way you do what you do. It assists you to build an expanded self-image through exploring diverse, and sometimes unfamiliar movements – all inherently human movements built into our skeleton, that perhaps you didn’t know you could do with ease.
