SERVICES Instructor Profile: Val Romeo
From a background in remedial massage and rehabilitation exercise, Val studied with STOTT Pilates in 2009. A fully certified Instructor with experience teaching various clients from injury to the regular office worker.
Her passion in health and educating her clients has been integrated through her therapy skills into her classes. She offers attention to detail when executing exercise programs with a sense of humour and a friendly disposition.
She also works in a couple of Pilates studios in Melbourne, where the classes are equipment based.

Flexibility Classes will stretch and mobilise your body.
A typical class will involve warming up with dynamic exercises and joint mobility. Followed by torso stretches in all ranges of the spine. You will be required to stretch sitting, standing, kneeling and lunging. Blankets and cushions will assist to make these positions more comfortable.
The class theme will differ week to week, concentrating on different areas of your body however providing a overall balance when you leave feeling revitialised and lighter!
Stretch & Lengthen to Reduce Tension
For low to medium flexibility levels and all ages are welcome.
So come and join us and your body will thank you for it!
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily.
Mats, blankets and cushions provided.

Terms run for 8 or 10 weeks. Mats and cushions provided.
Pilates will mobilise your spine and major joints of the body, whilst strengthening weaker muscles supporting your daily activities.
Learning the basic principles and building body awareness. You will undertake the essential exercises which will be learnt through repetition.
Class content will vary but maintaining a core of exercises to perfect.

If you know at least 5 mums you can book for a 8 or 10 week term. Maximum of 8 per class.
Working at a beginners level to slowly improve your fitness and awareness post-natal. A week by week progress to strengthen your core muscles specifically however gaining a integrated workout.
No need for a babysitter!
Toilets, kitchen, baby changing facilities and port-a-cot available.
Mats, cushions and blankets provided.
