Nutrition is the foundation of good health. Our bodies are a complex organism that have the ability to heal themselves - as long as we listen and provide them with the proper nourishment and care.
The food we consume contains nutrients necessary to fuel each and every part of our body. It is these nutrients that support life by ensuring our body has all of the basic materials it needs to complete its daily functions including thinking, repairing tissue and fighting infections.
If we do not give our body the correct nourishment by choosing the most nutritious foods we can impair the body's normal function and cause disease within.
The first step to wellness is ensuring you are getting the right amount of proper nutrients. Understanding the importance behind Holistic Nutrition and supplying your body with the correct balance of nutrients will enable you to ward of disease and maintain a harmonious balance within your body.
Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine which has been used for over 200 years. It was developed by Dr Samuel Hahnemann a physican who became disillusioned by the medications used in his time, and the hideous side effects that occured. Homeopathy is based on the principal that "like cures like"(a medicine which can cause a disease in a healthy person can also remove it in the sick).
Homeopathic medicines apply one single medicine which has been specifically selected for the individual to cover the basis of the whole state of health and bring about lasting relief of symptoms.
The medicines have been prepared by a specific process called potentization which activitates the medicine by diluting and succusing it which makes it non-toxic and free from side effects. This means that a homeopathic medicine can be taken at the same time as any prescribed medication without interfering or influencing its action.
Homeopathy can treat mental, emotional and physical conditions with one single medicine.

My name is Kylie Poole I have an Advanced Diploma in Homeopathy and a Diploma in Nutrition from Nature Care College. I am currently finishing my Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Complementary medicine at Charles Sturt University.
I became interested in natural medicine as I suffered with atopic conditions including severe eczema in childhood and received treatment from a Homeopath which resulted in my eczema going away for over four years. This inspired me to study Homepathy. My Nanna had also studied Homeopathy and often treated my family and I throughout our lives.
I have always been interested in the treatment of conditions the most nautral way possible. I also believe our health depends on us fueling it with the best, most natural sources of food possible. After enjoying my nutrition subjects so much I decided I would continue and finish my diploma. I would love to eventually complete my masters and PhD but that will be when my children are older. I am a mother of two boisterous boys who enrich my life and they inspire me to do all that I can to ensure they have the best start to life. I question everything that I put into their bodies and always choose the most natural treatment for any disease they may be experiencing. My passion drives me to help others, especially those who have had no success with the treatment options they have already pursued.
With this passion for all things natural and concern for what I was putting on my families skin, I have created a small range of products called Honey Dew. Honey Dew products are completely natural and the range includes chest rubs, baby bum cream, preggie belly cream, bath salts and sugar scrubs and are available for purchase from my rooms.
