What is Live Blood Screening?
Live Blood Screening provides an accurate and immediate indication of the state of your general health. It helps the practitioner to help you improve your wellbeing with health strategies tailor-made for you.
What does it tell me?
Live Blood Screening allows your practitioner to assess poor nutrition, immune system health, oxidative stress and free-radical damage, inflammation and liver health.
What is involved?
The process uses only one or two drops of your blood and takes about half an hour. The sample will be studied under a high magnification dark field microscope attached to a screen where you and your practitioner can observe your blood. Based on the size, shape and ratio of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets a report of findings will be compiled to provide an insight as to what is going on, on the inside. The report includes images of your blood, what the information obtained means and how this relates to your current state of health. More importantly, Katie will provide you with suggestions on how your health might be improved.
Through the use of live blood screening we can get an understanding of what may be preventing us from being healthy and how we can improve our quality of life.
ABOUT KATIE
Katie Forster is an experienced and highly qualified naturopath and homoeopath. Practicing since 1998, Katie has extensive experience in treating a wide range health concerns. As a mother, Katie also has a special interest in infant and children’s health.
With a passion for nutrition, Katie believes a balanced diet plays an integral role in maintaining good health. She works together with clients to implement realistic dietary changes to make a lasting difference. Herbal medicine, homoeopathy, and nutritional supplements are used, as required, to help clients overcome health issues. Her aim is to inspire and motivate clients so they feel equipped to embrace a healthy change.
Katie uses a variety of assessment tools to assist with the collation of health information. Live Blood Screening provides an insight into the health of the individual on a cellular level. Urinary Indican Test provides a measure of gut fermentation and bad bacteria in the digestive system. Zinc levels are also tested; zinc plays a major role in healing and immune function, and is commonly deficient in our Western society. These informative tests provide a greater insight into causative and/or contributing factors when we areunwell.
Katie holds an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy, Diploma of Homoeopathy, Diploma of Herbal Medicine and Nutrition. She completed her studies at the Australian College of Natural Medicine.
Katie is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and is registered with all private health funds.
