The initial consultation will take up to 60 minutes. I take an in depth look at your family history, medical history and look at all of your body systems.
The initial consultation consists of collecting basic health information about yourself, gathering information on any health concerns that you would like addressed, major health issues you have had in the past and any allergies you may have.
From here we look at your health complaints in depth and how they impact on your life. The consult looks at what medication and supplements you have been taking, your family medical history and lifestyle factors.
Once we have gone over these issues I will take your blood pressure, tongue and nail analysis, zinc test, ph test, and body fat analysis where indicated. These tests are powerful in determining diet and lifestyle problems. Below is a basic description of what each test is and its outcomes.
Blood Pressure Test – Used to test blood pressure levels which indicate hypo / hypertension.
Tongue & Nail Analysis – Your tongue and nails can give a good indication of your general health status and nutrient deficiencies.
Zinc Test – A 10 second test that uses a dilute solution of zinc to determine the extent of zinc deficiency based on your taste sensation. Zinc levels can affect addictions, hormones, immunity, metal, musculo-skeletal, tumours and other health complaints.
PH Test - The PH test gives an indication of your body’s acid / alkaline balance. Low levels (high acidity) in your body put you at risk of many diseases. Good PH levels (alkaline) are a precursor for good health and well being. In general most people are too acidic due to Western diet and influences (eg. Alcohol, coffee & fast food).
Bioimpedence Scales - This is a powerful tool for determining your body fat percentage & visceral fat %, your BMI (Body mass index), skeletal muscle and body weight.
In summary the initial naturopathic consult gathers your diet information and forms a general health profile of you. We then tailor a therapeutic health plan to your personal needs and health goals using diet & lifestyle changes. Iridology Consultation - Initial - $99- (20% off December Only!)
The initial consultation will go for approximately 45- 60 minutes. We take a brief look at your family history, medical history and in depth analysis of your eyes.
The initial consultation consists of analysing the structure, texture and colour of your eyes nerve fibres, microscopic blood vessels, lymphatic system & muscles which make up the eye. The eye analysis is done using a state of the art high resolution digital camera designed specifically for iridology. A copy via email is sent to you after the consultation.
With this information obtained from your eyes we can determine pathological, structural, functional and emotional disturbances within your body. This assists us in formulating a health plan to your personal needs and health goals using diet & lifestyle changes. We can use a combination of supplements, herbals, homeopathics, flower essence & exercise.
Naturopath & Iridology Follow up Consultations – $55- (20% off December Only!)
The follow up consultation will go for up to 30 minutes. We take a look at how the recommendations from the initial consult (or prior follow ups) are affecting your health. We look at fine tuning your desirable health goals and work on any unwanted effects that occur as a result of changes we have made to your diet or medicines. Follow ups are the key to achieving a better well being as we can concentrate and analysis more targeted aspects of your health and well being.
