BOWEN THERAPY
Bowen is an entire system of movements and procedures used to counteract a wide spectrum of internal conditions.
It is a treatment consisting of very precise and gentle rolling movements on the muscle and connective tissue.
The relaxation of the muscles stimulated creates changes throughout the body beyond the actual muscle worked on.
It is therefore helpful with problems such as:
Relaxing muscles allows better blood flow through the muscles and encourages healing locally. It also creates symmetry in the body and restores balance.
It is suitable for all ages, safe for babies and gentle on the elderly.
Bowen Therapy can be done semi or fully clothed and generally takes 30 - 45 minutes.
Emmett Technique
Emmett is a chameleon approach. An Emmett therapist has the ability to read your body and is able to give a treatment appropriate for you at that time.
The approach incorporates assessment and very effective muscle release techniques. There is an intricate knowledge of how the muscles work together and how the mind can hold the muscles in a position through cell memory. With the approach being appropriate the muscles release and so does the memory and the pattern is changed. This can influence every aspect of your health.
Emmett is an enhancement to the general treatment being used.
Jane Yeates and Nikola Wilkie combine it with Bowen Therapy.

EAR CANDLING
Ear candling is a gentle non-invasive way of cleaning the ear canal that was developed by Native American Indians.
It involves hollow ear candles – sometimes impregnated with essential oils to aid the clearing process – being gently inserted into the ear where the process of heat suction draws the wax/impurity build up out of the ear and up the candle.
All you do is relax on your side and enjoy the gentle warm feeling on your ear. Listen to the “crackle, pop and whoosh” noise as built up wax is removed. The results are amazing.
This gentle technique aids the following conditions:
Ear Candling is safe for cleaning the ears of children and adults.
The ear candling session also incorporates a gentle relaxing Bowen treatment.
Time: Allow 1 hour
Candles can also be purchased for home use.
