Dr. (Osteo.) Pamela Dennis has practised in Hobart for 9 years committed to all aspects of Osteopathic Health Care for her patients.
Pamela has studied extensively in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field and has specialised in this technique. Her combination of indirect techniques along with a strong structural, direct model from her University training at V.U.T - makes her treatment quite unique with all treatment options available.
Recently completing GEMt, www.GEMtinfo.com.au., Pamela and Kate at North Hobart Osteopathy can offer you Dry Point Needling technique for pain relief for acute muscle strains and overuse injuries.
Pamela also continues her post graduate development undertaking training in Nutritional health in the areas of musculoskeletal, pre-conception, pregnancy, children, menopause and arthritis which enables her to holistically to give advice on supplements and diet.
Lifesyle coaching in areas of diet, exercise and stretches are part of the support given in association with hands-on treatment. Workplace assessment, ergonomics and postural alignment are all areas which Pamela has expertise in. She has been involved in several workplace health care programs and has given seminars and individual assessments in the corporate arena.
We have three qualified Osteopaths available, Alira Heaney, Kate Locke and Pamela Dennis (Principal Osteo.) Call us for a time that suits you.
Consultations are usually 45 minutes which enable a more comprehensive understanding of factors that are effecting your body and gives plenty of time for treatment and discussion of diet, exercise and stretching.
Kate and Pamela are trained in Dry Point Needling which has been found to be great for pain relief of acute and chronic conditions.
Rebates are available through Private Health Insurance (Extras cover) and Medicare with referral from your GP through Allied Health Care Plan. DVA - registered provider for North Hobart with no out of pocket expense for DVA patients.
