This is done with a light touch. It helps eliminate toxins, reduces excess fluid and softens tissue. This treatment is suitable for lymphedema, post operative problems, sinus and headaches.
Reflexology
Pressure is applied to specific points on the feet and hands to treat many ailments. It reduces pain and relaxes the body.
Eastern Massage
This treatment promotes the flow of energy or ‘qi’ along acupuncture meridians. It also stimulates the circulation of blood and lymph within the body. This is both a relaxing and invigorating massage treatment which is particularly helpful for shoulder, neck and lower back problems. Please wear light clothing.
Cupping
Cupping uses the suction from glass cups which are placed on the body where there is pain and stiffness. This helps remove stagnation (congestion) from within the muscle.
Pregnancy Massage
Relieves lower back pain, sciatica and assists relaxation. This type of massage can be done with the patient lying on their side or sitting whilst using pillows for support. It can help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes can reduce nervous tension, which helps the mother sleep more easily and more deeply. Massage treatments can commence in your first trimester, depending on how you feel. It is then important to have regular treatments throughout the pregnancy and postnatal ranging from weekly to monthly.
