Our History

Established in 1988, Om Shanti College has been a leader in the natural therapies industry for more than fifteen years. Since re-opening in 2003 after the premises were gutted by fire, the college has been renovated and rejuvenated, building on Om Shanti’s already solid reputation.

Om Shanti College provides professional development in Massage Training. We offer Nationally Recognised Qualifications in Certificate IV in Massage and Diploma of Remedial Massage.

The College’s facilities offer state-of-the art equipment, large training rooms and a relaxed, soothing environment in which to learn. Om Shanti provides specialist yoga and massage materials, including yoga mats, massage tables, essential oils, wheat bags and massage blends.

Mission

Om Shanti College provides holistic skills and training in Wellbeing Therapies for everyone, to enable them to maintain their health and wellbeing. We believe that a happy and healthy individual creates a happy and healthy community.

What does Om Shanti Mean?

Om Shanti is a mantra. Broken down, Om is considered the primeval sound of the universe, it can also mean solemn affirmation and respectful yes.

Yes opens dialog and opportunities for living, as opposed to no which is a block to conversation and possibilities.

Shanti simply means peace. Usually said three times in Buddhist chants and meaning peace in body, mind and speech.
