Welcome to Osteopathy at Art Of Health, Annandale
Osteopathy is a system of health care in which hands-on treatment provides a very effective way of maintaining the structure and function of the human body. Osteopathy can be utilised as a primary form of health care, in addition to the care provided by a General Practitioner and other health professionals. It is not necessary to have a Doctor’s referral to consult an Osteopath.
In addition to the treatment, Osteopaths also provide advice on diet, exercise, stress reduction, posture, breathing and lifting technique. Osteopaths will refer to other health professionals if additional care is required.
Osteopathy is acknowledged by health funds, work cover and attracts a rebate from Medicare with a GP referral for the treatment of patients under the Enhanced Primary Care scheme.
