Osteopath
Pat graduated in the year 2000, with a Master of Health Science in Osteopathy from Victoria University. This training was undertaken following his thirteen years of experience as a registered nurse.
Imbalances within the muscular and skeletal systems are addressed by incorporating massage, manipulation, stretching and gentle muscle release techniques. Pat also holds a certificate in acupuncture, a technique which he integrates into his treatments.
Pat is a keen sportsman and has competed in many marathons including the arduous North Face 100km race around the Blue Mountains. This interest in sport has followed over into his practice where he has a keen interest in the management of sports related injuries.
Pat Bourke is a member of the Australian Ostepathic Association and is accredited by Workcover, Dept. Veterans Affairs and various private health funds.
