The first appointment includes Live Blood Screening, Urine Screening and a pH test.
LIVE BLOOD SCREENING
Live Blood Screening investigates the size, shape, associations, ratios and fine structure of the red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.
Only one or two drops of blood from your finger are needed. The blood sample is displayed in real time on a computer screen.
There is nothing that compares to seeing your blood live on screen!
We may discuss with you the use of dietary changes, nutritional supplements, herbal medicine or homoeopathy
Your Naturopath will be working with you offering advice, guidance and support while your body heals itself
A SECOND APPOINTMENT (if needed) usually includes Boimpedance Analysis and a Urinary Indican Test
BIOIMPEDANCE ANALYSIS
Also known as Vitality, Longevity and Anti-ageing. Bioimpedance Analysis, (BIA), was developed for monitoring patients after surgery in a hospital setting.
Leads are connected to one wrist and one ankle, then a low voltage electrical current is passed through your body. This may sound alarming, but it is safe and painless, and provides insight into aspects of your health such as, how much fat and muscle that you have in your body and the health of your cells. This science has even been used in several missions to space, to monitor the changes to the astronauts' body composition.
BIA may help you:

Urinary Indican Test
This test is an accurate, inexpensive and simple screening tool. It measures the putrefacation of protein in the gastrointestinal tract by dysbiotic bacteria.

Indican Test
Appointments may be tailored to your needs, for instance, Iridology or BIA could replace Live Blood Screening in the first appointment if preferred. Please state preferences when making an appointment.
CHILDREN
Live Blood Screening is suitable for children at any age. The child must be willing to sit still.
Iridology, Urine testing, Urinary Indican Test and pH testing are suitable for children at any age.
Magnagraph is only suitable for children over five years of age. Under this age the fingers are too small to place in the probe for an accurate reading.
BIA is not suitable for children.

COLONIC IRRIGATION THERAPY
Colonic Irrigation is also known as Colonic Hydrotherapy. The colonic machine is a closed system meaning all faecal matter goes straight in to the sewerage system. The speculums are one use only and come in sealed packs. The warm water is sterislised and chlorine free.
During the procedure water circulates throughout the colon, removing its contents, while the client lies on a comfortable massage table. Water temperature and pressure are closely monitored and regulated by the therapist. Light massage is performed on the abdomen to encourage release of hardened faecal matter. The waste material is removed with out the unpleasant odours or discomfort usually associated with enemas.The therapist remains with the client for the entire procedure. The massage bed and colonic machine are sterilised after each client.
