Bowen Therapy is a non-invasive, holistic, gentle, yet dynamic muscle and connective tissue therapy which balances the body through precise movements. Bowen does this by initiating a process of auto-regulation in the spinal column and consequently the whole body. This allows the body to heal itself.
Bowen removes pain, physiological dysfunction and restores the structural integrity of the body. Initial symptoms are reduced and one experiences an increase in energy and a sense of well being.
Whilst relief can be felt in one session, 3-4 sessions is normally adequate to resolve symptoms, however, certain chronic and degenerative conditions will benefit from ongoing sessions.
Who should try Bowen?
Everyone! It is safe for all ages from newborns to the elderly.
Where does Bowen come from?
