Michelle Blum has a four year bachelor degree in Acupuncture and is a full member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association. Her services are recognised by all major health funds.
Michelle has been practicing acupuncture for over 8 years and is also currently completing her studies in Naturopathy, enabling her to fuse together the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with western naturopathic ideas.
She is highly passionate about all aspects of women's health and is motivated and diligent about keeping abreast with the most up to date research findings.
In her treatments you will find that Michelle uses a multi-faceted approach to care which includes a gentle style of acupuncture, either individualised or patented chinese herbal preparations, as well as nutritional and dietary advise.
Many women come to see Michelle for assistance and support in getting their menstrual cycles regular and ironing out any reproductive concerns as well seeking help and advise with falling pregnant whether it be through natural means or through assisted reproductive technology.
Michelle is highly experienced in using the protocols that have been set out and tested in recent research clinical trials where acupuncture was seen to significantly increase the success of IVF.
