Whether you are suffering from acute pain or you just don't feel as energetic as you would like to, you may be suffering from spinal joint problems and even nervous system interference. Chiropractors are experts at identifying and correcting these problems so that you and your family can realise your health potential.
The two clinics are conveniently located with ample parking. We offer appointments during and after normal business hours to fit in with your busy schedule.
We strive to find out the cause of your health concerns, and after taking the time to find out exactly what you want from your health, work together with you to find solutions.
What to expect on your first visit?
The first thing we'll do is establish a detailed history of your overall health, and your Chiropractor will determine whether Chiropractic Care is the right choice for you. Next your Chiropractor will perform a thorough examination incorporating orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic tests. Then, if necessary, your Chiropractor will take specific postural x-rays to provide more detailed information about a specific condition. This process usually takes 30-40 minutes and you will then be given a clearer picture of your health/condition. You will usually receive your first treatment on this visit.
At Pro Health Chiropractic, we utilise the Gonstead System of analysis and treatment. Gonstead chiropractic follows a system developed by an American chiropractor named Clarence S. Gonstead. It involves a very thorough analysis of a patient’s spine and nervous system.

The Gonstead system is one of the most complete and thorough methods of biomechanical analysis available for doctors of chiropractic, and one used by the chiropractors at Pro Health Chiropractic. So why don't all chiropractors use this technique? Because the analysis takes more time and mastering the art of delivering a specific adjustment takes a lot of practice and dedication.
Gonstead chiropractic follows a system developed by an American chiropractor named Clarence S. Gonstead.
It involves a very thorough analysis of a patient’s spine, which includes:
The use of a skin temperature differential instrument (STDI) – this instrument aids the chiropractor in assessing the likelihood and location of nerve pressure in the spine.
Observation and postural analysis – this involves examining the posture (global and regional) of the patient for potential mal-position of the joints within the spine.
Palpation – this is a hands-on approach whereby the chiropractor feels the spine for the mal-position and restriction to normal movement of the joints within the spine.
X-ray analysis – this is a very detailed examination of radiographs of a patient’s entire spine. The analysis is specific to the Gonstead practitioner and aids in identification of direction of misalignment of the joints within the spine.
