In David’s holistic approach as a psychologist and counsellor his intention is to gently guide and support the client to uncover the accumulated layers of unhealthy behaviours, beliefs and defences that have been built up over time, which were once there to protect, yet no longer serve healthy relationships or self love. In promoting understanding and awareness, to address core issues, healing and growth begins. It is with this foundation of healing that life’s true vision can be created.

David Kalmar graduated at Sydney University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology. He then went on to complete the Post Graduate Certificate in Psychological Practice at the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) to become a Registered Psychologist with the NSW Psychologist’s Registration Board in 2000. David is a full member of the Australian Psychology Society.
