We are based in the Hills district of Sydney, NSW

I started Rae of Light in 2007, wanting to make a difference in the world with all we offered. We started out with a range of Natural Bath and Body products and then moved into the services side of the business.

I have been a qualified Infant Massage Instructor since 2007 and have a diploma in Baby Massage and Mother Care. I love the joy of teaching parents to massage their baby as there is something special about helping them bond with their baby.

I have been meditating and a channel for Reiki for over 10 years. Completing Reiki I in 1999, Reiki II in 2000 and have started my masters in Reiki, with Reiki Practitioner in 2008.

Teaching Meditation to a beginners class is very rewarding, being able to help people on their life journey is lovely.

Our Services

BABY MASSAGE

We teach parents to massage their babies, using Indian, Swedish and Reflexology strokes.
Massage is a wonderful skill to learn and can be used for years to come, adapting the strokes as your child grows older.

There are many benefits associated with Baby Massage:

• Strengthens the immune system
  
• Increases oxygen and nutrient flow to the cells
  
• A wonderful tool to strengthen the bond between parents and baby
  
• Can increase sleep or may help baby have longer periods of deep sleep
  
• Great for helping Mothers' with post natal depression
  
• It's fun!!

We conduct two types of classes - Group class and a Private Class - generally on a Saturday, however please check with us if you would like a different day.

MEDITATION

Meditation is an inward journey which allows you to become aware of your inner guidance, thoughts and feelings. During meditation we allow our body to relax while the mind is calm yet alert. Meditation is about siting quietly, being in the present and focusing on the breath while going within.

Meditation helps us to see our true selves, our true nature and our connection to the divine/universe.

Meditation has many health benefits which include:

• Helps to improve the immune system
  
• Release muscular tension and pain
  
• Lowers blood pressure
  
• Improves blood circulation and body function
  
• Balances the brain activity and clears the mind
  
• Makes you feel good!!!

Classes are 1 hour duration. Call to enquire about times as places are limited due to our small classes. Meditation classes are held at our Seven Hills facility.

REIKI

Reiki is a safe and natural way of holistic healing, which reaches the mind, body and spirit to bring them into balance.

Reiki is an ancient hands on healing, during treatment the hands are placed on the recipient's body in different positions and are held there for several minutes, where the life energy flows through the therapist and to the recipient.

A treatment can take anywhere from 1 to 1 1/2 hours and is said to be the equivalent of 3 to 4 hours sleep.

Reiki can help with:

• Relieve the pain of chronic disease
  
• Vitalises both body and soul, promotes relaxation, loosens blocked energy
  
• Replenishes depleted energy
  
• Compliments other healing methods - including medical treatment
  
• Improves personal growth
  
• Helps to change negative thoughts about people, situations and past experiences
  
• Day to day living (headaches, colds) supports the body's natural ability to heal itself
