I studied at Melbourne college of natural medicine and was blessed to find my passion early in life at the age of 21. As soon as i begun learning about the human body and various forms of healing through bodywork and natural medicines I knew it was my calling.

In 1998 I headed for Rainbow Beach QLD for a short holiday and ended up staying as I fell in love with the area and the community. Rainbow is definately a place with strong healing energies so, starting up my Massage and Natural Therapies business was 'meant to be' and straight away welcomed by locals and visitors.

The clinic is now in the heart of the main street of Rainbow Beach, and there are 6 other therapists working from the clinic.

Renee's promise is that when you come to Rainbow Beach Massage you will recieve a treatment that is unique and specific to your needs. We always have a consultation with you first to determine the right treatment for you on the day to help you with your desired outcome.

Renee understands the importance of taking time out for yourself, as when you are at your optimum, you have more to give others. The clinic has been set up with this in mind, once you enter the door, you are welcomed with tranquil music, calming essential oils and healing crystals, then after the initial consultation we will lead you into one of our healing rooms where you will recieve your treat-ment, helping you regain physical, emotional and spiritual balance and harmony again.

Come and see us at the marquee near the surf tower for a wonderful relaxing beach massage. When the weather permits over the school holidays we will be there to offer this magical experience.

Remedial Massage

A specific treatment for people with injuries or troubles with certain muscles. We may incorporate different techniques such as stetches or deep tissue work to help with problem areas, and often will need to work on surrounding muscles to loosen overcompensating muscles too. Most Health Rebates are available for Remedial work, enquire within.

Reflexology

Reflexology is based on the principal that certain parts of the body reflect the whole. Reflex points, which relate to different parts of the body respond to pressure, stimulating the body's own natural healing process. Subtle yet powerful, reflexology is a great tool to aid in good health.

Deep Tissue / Sports

Deep tissue is great for people who really like to feel the deeper muscles being loosened and lenghthened. Aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia. The therapist works to release muscle tension and knots.

Sports massage is great for people who are training or playing sport. Pre event massage for before the event, directed to the parts of the body that will be involved in the exertion. Post event , given an hour or so after the event to normalize the body's tissue.

Bowen

Bowen Therapy is a gentle, relaxing bodywork that is administered by manipulating thumb and fingers in a rolling motion over muscles to release energy blocks. Waiting periods are incorporated between a sequenced series of movements, which are conducted across specific muscles and connective tissues to alleviate different physical diseases

Lymphatic Drainage

Stimulates the lymph system with light, circular pumping movements. By stimulating the lymphatic system, the therapist helps drain puffy, swollen tissues, supports the body's immune system, helps the body heal from surgery, and aids in the body's natural waste removal or detoxification.

We use only the highest quality Essential oils that have been extracted from the leaves, bark, roots, stem, sap or peel of the plant. Applying these during a massage treatment, we can target any ailments by selecting the appropriate essential oils.

Myofascial Cupping

An ancient chinese practice in which a cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup is reduced so that the skin and superficial muscle layer is is drawn and held in the cup. A great treatment for people with very deep muscle problems.

Using Basalt volcanic stones which are warmed and then applied to the body in a rhythmic, flowing full body massage. Warm organic coconut oil is used with this treatment.
