Rebecca’s approach to Naturopathy
As a Registered Nurse and a Naturopath Rebecca believes in providing health care that caters to you as a whole and utilises methods based on current research and best practice. She recognizes that alternative medicine can be of great benefit for some conditions however western medicine is often needed for others. Her extensive medical Nursing background and strong Naturopathic philosophy give her a great understanding of both realms of medicine. She aims to provide all of her patients with a satisfying, effective, well rounded health care experience.
What to expect in a consultation
Your initial consultation will be 75 minutes and follow up consultations up to half an hour. During the consultation a health assessment will be carried out that focuses on you as a whole and is combined with assessment techniques such as iridology, hair tissue mineral analysis, urinalysis and functional pathology testing. A health plan tailored to you specifically will be created and you will be given some remedies to take home, as well as diet and lifestyle advice. Rebecca predominantly uses dietary and lifestyle change, combined with evidence based herbal and nutritional supplementation that act on physiological pathways to initiate change and improve your health.
