    Welcome to Redbank Holistic Centre

    COLON HYDROTHERAPY
    (Also known as Colonic Irrigation)

    Location

Redbank Holistic Centre is located in a quiet street, with easy parking. It is 30 minutes West of Brisbane CBD and for those of you up the range in Toowoomba and surrounds, we are 50 minutes down the hill to Ipswich, with easy access off Ipswich Road.

Colon Hydrotherapy is a relaxing, cleansing, gentle treatment that helps create a strong foundation for good health.
Your tissues are only as clean as your blood.
Your blood is only as clean as your colon.

    What are the Benefits?

    Removes stagnant faecal matter
Improves muscle tone and therefore bowel function
    Enhanced absorption of nutrients
    Renewed energy and mental awareness

If you experience any of the following symptoms then Colon Hydrotherapy would be of benefit to you.

  • Constipation
  • Tiredness
  • Menstrual pain/pms
  • Headaches
  • Depression
  • Assists with fertility
  • Bloating
  • Diarrhoea
  • Prostate problems

    What Happens During a Treatment?

Colon hydrotherapy involves gentle internal cleansing via the rectum. A series of warm, filtered water infusions alternatively fill and empty the colon. A soothing abdominal massage further encourages the removal of hardened faecal matter. Treatments are approximately 45 minutes and are completely safe.

    FAQ’S

    Does it hurt?

Occasionally some people may experience a sensation of mild discomfort. This sensation comes and goes as the colon releases. Most people say their sessions are relaxing and refreshing.

How many treatments do I need?

The number of treatments needed varies from person to person. It is recommended that a person has an initial series of treatments with one to two subsequent treatments seasonally. However, we work together to maximize the benefit you receive from your sessions.

Can I have it during my menstrual period?

Absolutely. Your body is already ‘cleansing’ so a colonic will assist with this process. Your flow will not interfere with the treatment at all.

    Will it weaken my colon?

Definitely not. In fact quite the opposite is true. The colon is a muscle and when it becomes overloaded with faecal matter it becomes flaccid and lazy. Removal of this waste encourages the normal rhythmic movement of the colon to return.

How will I feel after the treatment?

People generally feel lighter and cleaner. Some people feel a little tired, but the next day feel re-energized and clear headed.

N.B. Filtered water and disposable accessories are used.
