Reiki Treatments
Available by appointment. Give yourself the luxury of a Reiki treatment in a nurturing environment. Some use Reiki to help ease physical pain, others for emotional issues. Some use Reiki as a spiritual path. The choice is yours.
You will need an hour and a half for the first session. There will be at least one hour on the table having your relaxing treatment.

"I have been living with chronic pain for the past three years. Major disc degeneration and spinal stenosis. I have tried acupuncture, physio and massage. Over the past year the pain has escalated and manifested in quite different places. Shoulder, hip, arms and lower legs. Yesterday morning I was distraught and in despair. 63 years old and disabled on an almost weekly basis. I rang Helen O'Connor who has been a friend for many years .She suggested a faster EFTsession by phone. She asked if I was up for it before we started a 45 minute intense interaction. I was totally open as I had decided earlier in the day that I HAD HAD ENOUGH. The work that Helen did with and for me was astounding. Significant events of long ago surfaced painfully. I fully participated in the process of eradicating my misconceptions of these events. I let them go and in doing so let go the massive amount of physical pain that encased these memories. I slept for twelve hours last night. I have no pain. Such a small sentence but so huge for me. I went shopping, shoulders back and walking without a limp. If this is possible for 24 hours it is possible forever. My dear friend Helen, that you have helped me through this journey is beyond thanks." Lyn Niklasson 17 February 2012

Yes, I am going away from May 30th till June 21st for a break and Marita and Janet, Reiki Cottage Masters will take care of Reiki Circle here. Please continue to come to circle. There will be NO circle on the morning of June 6th but the evening sessions will be held as usual while I am on my break.

Value ~ “Appreciate yourself. Cherish and respect yourself. Do not undervalue your talents. Be prepared to put a value on your efforts. Every experience is to be valued, whether you understand the issues or not. There may be greater worth in something than you first saw.”

Each month, I pull a card from the box asking the question, “What card do we all need this month?” Value. This is an interesting one and got me thinking about things. I’ve increased my fees lately and part of me felt worried about this. Then I remembered all the years I have spent attending workshops, buying books, training myself, gaining experience as well as going without so that I could live my dreams. I realise that I have much to offer and really, I can’t put a price on that.

There is a balance in what I do. I offer low cost Reiki treatments at Reiki circle evenings and 3 hour workshops in FasterEFT at affordable prices. Some of my work is pro bono. In the past, I may not have valued myself as much as I do now. It has been with the help of Reiki and FasterEFT that things have moved and grown and I am doing the best I can. I love my work.

Are you valuing yourself and your life? Do you look after yourself with love and integrity? The days that I struggle are a reminder that we always have issues to heal and I am grateful that they have risen so that I can tap and Reiki and let those go.

When you feel bad, do you stuff down your feelings with food, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, playing the pokies, whatever? As Robert Smith says, we are all “escapaholics”. When we feel the stress, we often run from or bury our feelings. That’s where FasterEFT can help. We notice where we feel the stress in our bodies and then we tap. It’s amazing what can be released during this process. Then we change the feeling to one of happiness and tap those good feelings in, eventually allowing more love into our hearts and into our lives. As many of you know, I have used Reiki and tapping for many years and my healing journey through the breakdown of two marriages, severe anxiety and panic attacks and the finding of my soul mate have been nothing short of miraculous!

Last weekend I conducted two marriages, both different, yet both were filled with love and joy. I am so lucky to be involved in celebrant work and it makes me happy to meet my couples, help them create the best ceremony that reflects them as a couple, conduct the ceremony on their special day and make sure their marriage is officially registered.

It will be 7 years this September since I was registered as a Civil Marriage Celebrant. I vividly remember the excitement of receiving my letter on my return from Queensland after my dad died. It felt as if he had something to do with it! Where have those years gone? 125 weddings later, some special funerals and namings and I’m still going strong!

Australian Reiki Connection Inc ~ We have a meeting on the second Saturday of the second month and the June meeting (Saturday 8th June) will be Reiki Awareness Day. See www.australianreikiconnection.com.au for more information.

Reiki Circles are held ~ Every Wednesday evening begins at 7.30pm with meditation then the tables go up for everyone to give and receive Reiki and you will be on your way home by 9.30pm. We always have a laugh and there is support for you in your Reiki journey. We all need community and this is one way to meet like minded people. It’s $15 for Reiki channels and for newcomers (non Reiki channels) who would like to receive a Reiki treatment at one of these circles, (cheap Reiki night!) the fee is $25. These prices haven’t increased in years and I am planning on keeping it that way!

Circle is also held on the first Wednesday morning of the month from 10.00am till midday. May 2nd this month. NO morning circle in June.

The Last Survivor is also an intimate meditation on how one begins to pick up the pieces of a broken life after experiencing such tragedy and forge a new path forward to ensure a better future.

Reiki classes ~ in a group or individually. Come and learn this powerful healing tool to relax, calm and empower you to live a life of peace and love. I am flexible but will always spend a minimum of ten hours with you. The fee for Reiki Level One is $320 which includes a manual, certificate and one free Reiki Circle.

Reiki Two ~ Continue your Reiki journey, learn the symbols, delve deeper into your Reiki practice, learn absent Reiki and become certified as a practitioner. The next Reiki Two course will be held on Friday May 11th and Saturday May 12th. The fee is $495 which includes manual, certificate and one free Reiki circle.

If you would like to be attuned in the lineage Usui, Hayashi, Takata, Furumoto, Getty, Ives, O’Connor, I teach Reiki on a needs basis so if you are ready for Reiki level One or Two, just let me know and I will accommodate you.

Mindfulness Meditation with Marita
Marita Lajs is a mindfulness meditation practitioner who teaches in the cottage on the first and third Mondays of the month. Alert!! This month Marita will not be running the class on the third Monday but the first Monday 7th is definitely on Class starts at 7.30 sharp and finish at 8.45pm. Cost is $15.
