Welcome to my Return To Stillness
RETURN TO STILLNESS is a naturopathic practice conducted by John C. Coleman ND, MANPA, MBTAV which focuses on helping people find their individual pathways to complete health. All health conditions, physical, emotional or spiritual, are explored in an holistic, empowering way.
John believes that we all have the power to be well if we provide the correct healing environment in and around our body. Lifestyle advice, remedies and therapies offered at Return To Stillness are all aimed at creating a total environment where your body can resume its natural condition of joyful good health.
At Return To Stillness, we are dedicated to helping you maintain your good health or overcome all health challenges, no matter how small or large, irritating or confronting. Fatigue, lethargy, depression, skin disorders, digestive dysfunction and many other everyday health challenges are improved with lifestyle changes and simple remedies or therapies.
Some of the confronting diagnosed disorders/diseases treated and helped at Return To Stillness include Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, Scleroderma, Fibromyalgia, Muscular Dystrophy, Post Polio Syndrome, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Peripheral Neuropathy, Post-Stroke challenges, and many others. A number people with undiagnosed or undiagnosable disorders have also been treated and helped to find their own way to health.
John is a member of the Australian Naturopathic Practitioners' Association (MANPA) and the Bowen Therapists Association of Victoria (MBTAV), and rebates are available from many health funds in Australia.

At Return To Stillness, we provide a range of Naturopathic and Bowen Therapy Services to meet your individual needs.
In Clinic Naturopathic Consultations
John sees patients during weekends (by appointment only) in his clinics at 36 McMasters Lane, Lancefield (a rural area 1 hour North West from Melbourne) and 117 Station St, Malvern (Thursdays only).
Naturopathic Consultations include taking a complete history (you may be asked to complete a thorough questionnaire before seeing John), iris photographs, any other examination required (e.g. throat, ears as necessary), discussion of medical tests or reports, and questions answered. John will then create a health plan for you, discuss that, and write instructions to help you on your way. He may provide remedies or suggest you purchase them elsewhere.
If required, John will suggest you see other practitioners to assist you with specific challenges or to provide therapies not available at Return To Stillness.
Specialist Advice for neurodegenerative and autoimmune disorders
John's personal experience in recovering from Parkinson's disease, plus over ten years experience in helping others reverse symptoms of neurodegenerative and autoimmune disorders, provides the basis for his specialist services in this area. John will consult with those diagnosed with these challenging disorders in clinic, by mail or telephone.
- In each case, patients will need to complete an extensive questionnaire to enable John to gain insight into their illness process. Consultations may be:
In clinic: up to 3 hours for the initial consultation, then follow up consultations of 1 to 1.5 hours as required. - By mail: complete and mail the questionnaire available on John's website. John will assess your situation and provide written advice and a Guidebook. This process may take up to 4 weeks.
- By telephone: complete and send the questionnaire available on his site, then arrange a telephone consultation via email. The cost of telephone consultations is pro-rata by time.
Bowen Therapy
John Coleman is a qualified Bowen Therapist and may provide this service if indicated by your symptoms, or refer you other practitioners closer to your home.
Free Mineral/Homeopathic Assessment
You have the option of completing a online health assessment based on safe and effective treatment with mineral/homeopathic combinations. The results of this assessment will be sent to John for final perusal before we recommend appropriate remedies to help you. This may take two weeks.
The assessment is completely FREE, and there is no obligation to purchase the remedies from Return To Stillness. However, all required remedies are available on this site; just go to our Products page to get details.
On Line Shop
We have a wide range of excellent products available by mail in our On Line Shop. All the products offered have been used in our clinic and most have been used personally by John andor his family.
Products ordered will be carefully packed and sent by mail, usually within 48 hours of receiving your order. Goods will be sent by ordinary/air mail, unless you specifically request (and pay for) express mail.
