In this tradition yoga is a completely holistic experience combining body, breath and mind, encouraging a deeper understanding of how and why we feel on a physical and mental level.

All the “tools” of yoga are incorporated including asana (body movements/postures), pranayama (breath awareness/exercises), chanting, bhavana (visualisation), mantra (gestures), meditation and a combination of these.

These tools are utilized in a practical and experiential manner.

Yoga in this tradition encourages the student on a personal journey towards physical and mental health and spiritual growth. General class sizes are small ( no more than 10 students ) so that the needs of each student can be catered for.

Private classes are also available.

SALLY RIDDELL has been teaching yoga since 2000 and has been practising these teachings and studying with the Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation since 2001 both in Australia and India.

At present she is studying Yoga Therapy with KHYF.

She is a member of KHYF.

Sally offers classes for the fit and healthy, for those recovering from injury or with special needs, for sports people. Yoga for all stages of life. Read more about these teachers on Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation in India and Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in India.
