Naturopathy:
Naturopathy relies on a profound belief in the ability of the body to heal itself given the right opportunity. It uses natural medicines, herbal medicines, dietary advice and lifestyle corrections to assist a person towards an optimal state of health. One of the tools we also use is Iridology which can reveal functional disturbances in the human body by means of understanding the markings and discolorations on the iris of the eye and sclera. A Naturopathic consultation involves taking an in depth case history and treatment is underpinned by a wholistic understanding of your individual health status and needs. Our aim is to create an easily managed health plan that will get our clients feeling great and living a healthy life.
Massage:
Massage is a simple, non intrusive therapy which restores, rehabilitates and revitalises your body and mind. It is one of the oldest forms of healing, assisting circulation and lymphatic drainage, soothing the nervous system, balancing and clearing meridian blockages, increasing flexibility of connective tissue, helping to provide greater freedom of movement, relaxation and the development of well-being. Remedial Massage uses a variety of techniques and movements to "remedy" the problems found.
Weight Management:
Our Naturopaths run two different weight management programs. The first being an intensive, goal focused 6 week program which is designed to achieve results quickly. The second is a weight management program designed for longer term results. It is based on each individuals needs and is much less intensive, addressing behavioural and emotional causes of wight issues also. Whatever your needs are weight loss is something we achieve great results with for our clients.
Lymphatic Drainage:
A gentle,specialised form of massage designed to assist the flow of fluid through the tissues,making the collecting lymphatic pump move lymph.It can increase lmyph flow by up to 25 times the usual,helping to reduce the effects of post operational edema,unexplained hand and foot swelling, sport injuries,pregnancy,being on the verge of illness,etc.
