Dr Irene Prantalos (Chinese Medicine) has assisted many patients over the years with Chinese herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. She focuses on assisting:

Over the years cosmetic acupuncture has been enjoyed by many as it provides a natural solution to ageing without the use of any toxins or dangerous plastic surgery techniques that are irreversible.
Cosmetic acupuncture aims to minimise the depth and width of wrinkles while promoting blood circulation to the face which results in the improved appearance of the skin.

Pregnancy massage
As a woman progresses through her pregnancy, the demands on her body become evident.
Massage is a great way to alleviate some of these discomforts while promoting relaxation.
Pregnancy is experienced differently in each woman, however generally with the uterus expanding to accommodate the growth of the baby many women often comment on feeling restricted due to intense aches and pains.
Pregnancy massage is unique as it follows the understanding that certain pressure points are forbidden during pregnancy, however with many safe to be used the following complaints can be effectively addressed.

- Fluid retention
Regular massage treatments can reduce the intensity of pain while assisting with minimising fluid retention. It has been observe by some obstetricians that there may be a reduction in labour time as promoting circulation may assist with an easier birth as well as minimising pain.
Remedial Massage
When your muscles become tense and knotted pain results as the body doesn’t move as freely as it should. Remedial massage assists with releasing muscular tension through gentle or strong, shallow or deep massage. These techniques are adjusted to suit individual’s needs and requirements based on their injury. Initially a therapist will identify the affected muscles/joints and work deep within the muscles as well as applying passive joint stretching to mobilise the affected joint.

SIMONE JANES – Massage Therapist
Simone has completed her Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice. She is currently studying for her Diploma of Remedial Massage.
Her career stems from Business Management, within the furniture and design industry. However, a lifelong interest in natural therapies, and commitment to relaxation, harmony and general wellbeing, has led to a change in career to Massage Therapy.
Simone’s experience is extensive in the therapeutic massage field, from assisting client’s with widespread aches and pains to tailoring individual needs of clients with specialised concerns such as pregnancy related pains.
To assists Dr Irene Prantalos with getting great results with her cosmetic acupuncture, Ashlea has come on board to be our resident Beauty Therapist. The facials utilise the natural, organic skin care range developed by Dr Irene Prantalos, Salubre Cosmeceuticals.
Salubre Cosmeceuticals Facial 1hour
Upon completing a skin analysis form, Ashlea will analyse your skin type and assess what your skin needs are and which Salubre Cosmeceuticals range is best suited for you.
The 1 hour facial incorporates:
- Deep cleanse: the skin is cleansed thoroughly to clear any impurities that are on the surface of the skin
- Exfoliation: the skin is actively exfoliated with alpha and beta hydroxy acids that penetrate the skin to remove the dead surface cells
- Extraction (if necessary): this process consists of gently extracting blackheads and white heads after the skin has been effectively treated with steam and appropriate skincare
- Masque is then followed to settle the skin from the irritation of the extraction and time is allowed for nutrients in the masque to enter the skin.
- Moisturise: the skin is then hydrated and moisturise to enhance your natural beauty
- Eyes: are a delicate area of the face however special attention is given to the eyes throughout the facial by using the Emergency Brilliance Eye Pads to help to reduce fine/lines and wrinkles, darkness and bags under the eyes and at the end our facials we apply our specialised eye cream to continue the effects after you leave the clinic.
- Massage: An additional extra is a relaxing massage to help ease any tension you may have in you neck/shoulders
