HOMEOPATHY
Homeopathy is a natural, holistic form of medicine that was established by German physician, Dr Samuel Hahnemann. It is used worldwide, with 200 years of clinical experience. In some countries, such as Germany and India, it forms part of mainstream healthcare.
According to the World Health Organisation, homeopathy is the second most used medical modality in the world. It has been used by the English Royal Family since 1830. The most popular cold and flu remedy in France is a homeopathic medicine.

Vestibular neuritist
Recently I was struck down suddenly with auricular neuritis - an extremely debilitating inflammation of a nerve in the brain which causes severe dizziness and vomiting. These symptoms can typically last from 3 weeks up to three months and can sometimes linger mildly for years. Croup
After a few hard winters with croup and hospital visits we decided to try homeopathy. I came into contact with Shirley who was from the first onset great to deal with and generally concerned about our 17 month old. We were skeptical, however, after our first consultation with Shirley who had prepared a “croup management plan” for us and investigated other attributes that bring on croup such as teething, we were starting to feel at ease. Now 4 months down the track we have been sticking to her plan and have had no hospital visits. Shirley is fantastic and I find her to be extremely personable and caring. My 1 year old son was suffering with coup. He was given doses of steroids for 4 days; however, his symptoms continued. He had a terrible barking cough, his wheezing at night was very worrying and he would wake every night with a high temperature. He also had a runny nose, was very clingy and not his usual happy, active self over the days that he was feeling unwell. An hour after the remedy our son became active and playful for the first time in over a week. He regained the energy which he usually displayed and it was the first night that he did not wake with fever or wheezing and he slept through until morning. Eczema
I first came across homeopathy looking for treatment for my eczema. I started off with eczema on only one of my ankles. After using steroid and antibiotic cream from my doctor, the eczema spread to both legs, ankles and arms. It was inflamed, dry, extremely itchy (scratching until I bled) and I could not sleep from the severe itching. As a result, there was a lot of skin discolouration and scarring.
After each dose of the remedy, I saw significant improvements in my symptoms. After taking this remedy a total of 3-4 times, the itching, eczema and scars had gone. The brown discolouration had significantly reduced. There have been no new outbreaks or itching since March 2010. I could not believe a few drops taken only a few times cured my eczema! (Radha)
Hayfever
In August 2010 I began to suffer severe hayfever. My symptoms included extremely itchy and inflamed eyes; the whites were red and swollen. The incredible itchiness almost drove me insane. My symptoms continued for about a month; I was at the stage where I couldn’t go outside or open any windows. I took Telfast and used Visine eyedrops which did absolutely nothing. The GP prescribed steroids to take for 3 days. Although the steroids did stop the symptoms on the days I took them, they returned after the 3 days. I was back to square one. The GP then prescribed Phenergan. I was breastfeeding at the time and was advised that there was a risk that it could reduce my milk supply and cause drowsiness. In desperation I took it; although symptoms reduced slightly, I was so tired I could not function properly.
Shirley gave me some homeopathy drops. I took the doses and soon after I felt normal for the first time in over a month. The itchiness in my eyes had gone, the swelling had disappeared and I could walk outside without any discomfort. I felt total relief. I continued taking the drops for the following few days and then stopped. My symptoms have not returned and I am no longer taking the drops. I now feel normal again. I experienced very painful breast thrush when nursing my little one. While the doctors were not able to diagnose it properly, let alone treat it. Travel remedies
Before I met Shirley, my knowledge on homeopathy was limited. Then I read that homeopathy is great for travelling, as a prophylactic for malaria and parasites, not to mention vaccinations. Whiplash
I was in a car accident and was diagnosed with bad whiplash and neck strain. Shirley gave me treatment a few days after the accident and I felt great relief the next day. QUALIFICATION DETAILS
I am a qualified homeopath, naturopath and nutritionist. I completed my studies at Nature Care College, Sydney. My background was in the banking sector as a certified practising accountant (CPA). After having worked and travelled extensively overseas, I became dissatisfied with the corporate life and returned to pursue my interests in the healing profession. Having completed my naturopathic studies, I discovered my passion for homeopathy as I witnessed its success in treating very difficult conditions, especially those that orthodox medicine was unable to help.
I am registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and Australian Register of Homeopaths (AROH).
