SERVICES
Hatha Yoga
The classes are traditional Hatha Yoga with a strong Iyengar influence establishing a good foundation & working with alignment of the body, mind & breath. The experience Ruth has gained working with Sivananda, Satyananda, Desikachar & other forms of yoga also influence her teaching.
In the Gentle Yoga classes all the benefits of yoga are achieved without being too strenuous, props are used to take pupils deeper into the asanas & pranayama enabling them to hold & gain the benefits.
Bringing the mind & breath into the practice works on the pupil as a whole & a sense of calm is achieved while bringing the body into a healthy state. The classes are suitable for men & women of all ages & in all conditions.
