Seddon Therapies provides Massage Therapy and Osteopathy Treatments during hours you can make it. Psychology consultations are also available with Kim Marr on Saturday mornings.

Massage Therapy is available 7 days a week Appointments are available from 8am until 8pm Monday til Thursday; Friday 9am to 6pm and all day Saturday and Sunday. (Check our clickbook website for full details of availability)

Osteopathy treatments are available Saturday mornings and every weekday with evening appointments until 8pm .

Psychology consultations are now available Saturday mornings with Kim Marr .

Electronic Health Fund Rebates apply for most funds. Receipts may be issued for other eligible health fund clients and tax invoices for all other purposes will be issued on request.

Seddon Therapies

MASSAGE
All of the massage therapists at Seddon Therapies are fully qualified and registered with the Aust Association of Massage Therapists.

Massage treatments include remedial, therapeutic, sports, manual lymphatic drainage, pregnancy and relaxation. The massage may incorporate cupping, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, reflexology and aromatherapy techniques.

Massage therapy is suitable for treatment of sporting injuries; low back pain and stiff joints; arthritis and sciatica and neck and shoulder tension which is particularly associated with headaches.

Gift Vouchers are available all year round, and the schedule of fees for all massage treatments is as follows:

$45 for 30 mins
$65 for 1 hour
$95 for 1 & 1/2 hours

OVER 60'S RATES:
$35 for 30 mins
$55 for 1 hour
$85 for 1 & 1/2 hours

OSTEOPATHY
Dr Richard Todd is the Principle Osteopath at Seddon Therapies. Daniel Baddiley joined the team in October 2010 as an Associate Osteopath.

Osteopathy treats a range of conditions including joint & muscle stiffness. It is a safe and gentle form of treatment and includes a variety of manual techniques, not just manipulation.

It is suitable for the treatment of postural problems; whiplash; asthma; tennis elbow; carpal tunnel syndrome; digestive problems; shin splints; heel and foot pain; sciatica and headaches just to name a few.

Both osteopaths are recognised providers for WorkSafe, Department of Veterans Affairs and the Transport Accident Commission.

Psychology & counselling

Kim Marr , BSc (Hons Psych) MPsych (Clin) is a registered psychologist with over 13 years experience & is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society & an Associate Member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.

Psychology & counselling treatments are available for: depression and other mood disorders; anxiety disorders; alcohol & drug use; stress management; anger management; sleeping problems; survivors of sexual & other abuse; survivors of trauma; relationship problems; & other life problems.

Psychology & counselling treatments include: cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, relapse prevention, motivational interviewing & harm minimisation.

Fees:

Clients referred by their general practitioner on a Mental Health Plan will not be charged a gap fee. Otherwise fees are:
Standard consultation of 50 min: $100
Concession for healthcare & pensioner cardholders: $85
