Laurianne Gwilliam is an accredited APMA instructor providing a supportive environment where clients learn to take responsibility for their own physical and mental wellbeing through safe, mindful energising exercise.
SERVICES Laurianne has a science teaching background and a Graduate Certificate in the Pilates Method from the University of Technology in Sydney. Having rehabilitated her own body using Pilates, Laurianne specialises in educating her clients to become aware of how they use their bodies. Tight, overused muscles are encouraged to relax and weak stabilising muscles are strengthened. The power of the mind is harnessed to allow rapid relief of pain and improvement of flexibility, toning and core strength.
Each session lasts about 75 minutes and is a joyful, empowering experience with all clients contributing to an atmosphere of mutual support and good humour. Class size is limited to 2-4 people and session times are flexible.
All ages and levels of fitness are welcome. At the moment clients range in age from 11 to 84.
