HOW YOU MAY GET RID OF BACK PAIN WITHOUT DRUGS OR SURGERY!!
AN INTIAL APPOINTMENT INCLUDING A CONSULTATION, SPINAL ASSESSMENT & THE FIRST TREATMENT SESSION MAY SHOW HOW!
If you’ve had back pain for some time, you may already realize that back pain may be a complex, on-going problem that is not easily resolved.
Adding to the situation is that even though there are amazing X-rays, CTs and MRIs available these days, sometimes nothing may show up or the results are inconclusive.
And studies have shown that between 20-64% of people with no back pain have a disc herniation when examined by MRI. (1) So it is possible that something shows up on the scan but it may not be the cause of the back pain.
You may already have tried getting some pain relief from medication. However, a review of 51 studies of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for low back pain showed short term symptomatic relief only. There was no evidence of a long term benefit. (2)
In chronic or long term low back pain (and other chronic pain conditions) elevated levels of muscle tension are thought to be a factor. (3)
Research (4) also reveals a little known approach that may reduce or resolve back and other pain. A study of 2818 people demonstrated a procedure that is very beneficial in easing pain, headaches, stiffness and fatigue. The procedure studied was Network Chiropractic. Network involves NO manipulation and NO adjustment of the joints. Rather, gentle, low force and highly specific contacts are used to reduce muscle tension and loosen and normalise the spine. It is very relaxing and may make a significant improvement in back pain, neck pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, sciatica, etc.
So, if you are experiencing back pain and have been treated with little or no improvement, or want a second opinion to compare what we have to say to the care you’re currently receiving or have received in the past, please call us at 9793 3755.
An initial appointment that takes approx 1 hour includes a consultation, a spinal, muscular and nervous system assessment, and the first corrective treatment session and is just $97.00. If you’re concerned, you may want to make that call to us now.

Chiropractic Care Helps Body Physiology and DNA Repair - Study Shows
The March 7, 2005 Medical News Today reported on a study that shows that chiropractic helps body physiology and DNA repair. The study…was a collaboration between chiropractors and researchers at the University of Lund in Sweden. In this study researchers found that chiropractic care could influence basic physiological processes affecting oxidative stress and DNA repair.
The article noted that serum thiols are primary antioxidants. Higher antioxidant levels can serve as a way
of measuring human health status and DNA repair enzyme activity, which has been shown to correlate with lifespan and aging. In this study researchers measured serum thiol levels in 21 patients, some of these with a variety of health issues or pain, who had undergone short-term chiropractic care. Researchers also evaluated a group of 25 asymptomatic patients who had undergone long-term chiropractic care. These results were then compared to a control group of 30 people who had not received any chiropractic care.
The study results showed that, as the researchers expected, patients who were in pain had the lowest antioxidant levels. However, those patients who were under longer term chiropractic care had statistically significant higher antioxidant levels than both the short term patients with pain, as well as those without pain who did not receive chiropractic care.
One of the authors, Dr. Christopher Kent, explained, “Going through life, we experience physical, chemical, and emotional stress. These stresses affect the function of the nervous system. We hypothesized that these disturbances in nerve function could affect oxidative stress and DNA repair on a cellular level.” Kent continued, "Oxidative stress, metabolically generating free radicals, is now a broadly accepted theory of how we age and develop disease.” QUALIFICATION DETAILS
