WHAT IS CLINICAL MYOTHERAPY?

CLINICAL MYOTHERAPY is an integrated approach to the management of musculoskeletal pain and associated loss of mobility. A "hands on" therapy involving extensive evaluation and investigative assessment of your pain complaint.
Treatment will be tailored to address associated dysfunctions presenting from the involved muscles, joints and nerves, including imbalance due to weakness and overuse syndromes.
Pain relief is the primary focas of the initial treatment phase. Muscle imbalance and limitiation to joint movement is then addressed to manage ongoing pain complaints. You may also be instructed on one or two simple exercises to assist the effects of your treatment and to give you more control to manage your symptoms.
Your Myotherapist will also liase with your preferred allied health professional in planning clinical lifestyle management and implementing preventative medicine strategies.
