Shanthyogapilates is a sole trader business run by Vrinda. The business provides small & professional Yoga and Pilates classes that are not very expensive. The classes are small, so individual attention or correction can be provided. To make it flexible, there are classes for a range of populations and there are class passes to suit most pockets.
Vrinda was introduced to formal Iyengar Yoga in Liverpool, U.K. in 1984. She is now a qualified Instructor in Fitness, Les Mills BODYBALANCE, Classical Yoga and Mat Pilates and has been instructing since 2003. In addition to regular classes, Vrinda volunteers weekly, by instructing a gentle chair based Yoga to the elderly and Adult disabled. Yoga is all encompassing and welcomes all, regardless of faith. Yoga is also part of Vrinda's culture and family upbringing. The Yoga and Pilates that you will experience is one where Eastern Science has merged with Western Science. As a result you will be safe, nurtured and looked after.
Please bear in mind all humans are different, with different capabilities, hence there is not one ideal position to be, when in a posture. You are encouraged to experience Yoga and Pilates through awareness (Prabhodan), self study (SwaDhaya) and your breath(Pranayam).
Regardless of your background, Yoga encourages equality, non-duality and promotes living in harmony with one another.
