Warren gained a Diploma from Takeo Suzuki of his Zen Shiatsu College (Tokyo, Japan) for his proven ability in Zen Shiatsu therapy.

Warren also obtained a Diploma from the Natural Power Ki Gong Institute (Seoul, Korea) for his ability in Qi Gong (Ki Gong).

The intensive training Warren undertook and the insights he gained while studying with these Masters of Oriental medicine provide the foundation for the treatments which are given in the clinic.

DIAGNOSIS AND COUNSELLING

Before receiving treatment, the quality of your energy and organ function is assessed. With a knowledge and understanding of Chi (energy), we can assess your condition by looking at your body's specific energy qualities.

Pulse, tongue and energy channel diagnosis are systematically used to determine the underlying cause of disharmony in your body.
This information then provides the basis for an effective treatment plan to be formulated, with the focus on bringing your body and mind back to a balanced and harmonious condition.

The successful treatment of a variety of conditions is possible once an accurate diagnosis has been made.

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture focuses on regulating the quality of energy which flows through the energy channels of the body.

The needles are inserted into special points along the energy channels, which then creates a harmonising flow of energy, between areas with excess and those of deficiency.

Needles are of the highest quality and are all disposable.

SHIATSU (similar to acupressure)

A Japanese style of massage therapy which utilises acupressure and special “energy-moving” techniques.

This therapy is effective in “opening the blocked energy channels of the body” as it transforms tension (causing stagnation of energy and blood) which has accumulated in the energy channels and internal organs of the body.

The treatments lead to improved energy and blood circulation – the foundation for good health and harmony between body and mind.

Re-harmonising energy and blood can also regulate the function of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerve systems.

CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE

Herbal formulas are prepared specifically to treat the root cause of the patient’s presenting disharmony, whether it is in an acute or chronic phase.

The essence of herbal medicine is to re-harmonise the quality of energy flowing through the energy channels of the body.

The herbs regulate the “environment of the body” by creating harmony between internal organs and their respective energy channels.

Herbs used in the clinic are in easy to take pill form.

MEDITATION and EXERCISE THERAPY (QI GONG / TAOIST EXERCISES)

Warren has been a practitioner of meditation for more than 25 years having undergone intensive training and retreats in temples in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Korea and Japan.

The ability to still the mind is an integral part of the "inner training" of Oriental Medicine. The ability to calm the mind enables a practitioner to "tune into" a patient's specific problems and in so doing assess areas of energy congestion which are preventing the body from naturally healing itself.

Warren's training has also included intensive personalised Qi Gong practice in Korea over a 7 year period with both of his Qi Gong teachers, Yang Yohan and Oh Sooil.

Specific body movements can facilitate improved energy flow through the body which have a healing effect on the body and to strengthen the body's resistance to disharmony and disease.

Warren often gives patients specific exercises to do as part of the treatment process, enabling them to become active participants in their journey to better health.
