Classes are general for people with varied ability.In our classes each person is encouraged to work within their own capacity and develop at their own individual pace. The classes are relaxed and friendly within a supportive and non-competitive environment. All are welcome.

Monday 6.00 - 7.30pm
Wednesday - 9.30-11.00am
Thursday - 7.00 8.30pm
Friday - 9.15am at MT MARTHA HOUSE (child care available)
Please advise if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, any injuries or medical conditions.
Do not eat a meal for at least 2 or 3 hours before class, yoga works best on an empty stomach!
Arrive 10 minutes before class is due to start.
Wear comfortable clothing to allow freedom of movement (eg:shorts or leggings)
We have blankets, blocks, straps and mats but you might like to bring your own mat.
Yoga is for everyone. The only prerequisite is being able to breathe. Even the most difficult looking postures have simple variations that anyone can do. You don't have to be flexible, fit or strong to do yoga.This will be a natural by-product of doing yoga over a period of time.
Yoga gives you energy and vitality. It corrects your posture, helps cure disease, clears the mind, reduces stress, can be done anywhere, does not require any expensive equipment and it makes you feel good by bringing you in touch with yourself and your own creative spirit.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS Simone is a member of YTAA and has been practicing Yoga for over 17 years, studying in Sydney, New Zealand and Melbourne and completed her Diploma of Yoga Teaching over 5 years ago. Her style of Yoga is Hatha but over the years she has been influenced by Iyengar, Desikarchar and more recently studying under Physiotherapist and renowned Yoga teacher, Simon Borg Oliver and his unique form of Synergy Yoga.
Simone is a qualified Remedial Masseuse and is acutely aware that everyone needs to move differently and according to their own body.
Classes are taught so that each individual is able to take each posture to their own limitation.
