Remedial Massage: ($70 an hour)
When muscles become knotted and tense or damaged, remedial massage provides a healing treatment that can be gentle or strong, deep or shallow. Remedial massage holistically treats the body, identifying the original biomechanical dysfunction, thus healing the cause of the disorder, as well as the symptoms.
The treatment is tailored to suit you as an individual, whether you have an injury, aches and pains or problems with your mobility. Through communication, postural assessment, soft and deep tissue techniques such as Trigger Point Therapy, Mobilization and Muscle Energy Techniques and explaining how you can help yourself through self stretches and other methods, I will strive to help you recover and to feel like a new and improved person.
Relaxation Massage ($70 an hour)
Relaxation or Swedish massage is a smooth flowing style that helps reduce:
Stress, improve circulation and range of movement, eases and tones muscles, provides the deep relaxation that allows our minds and bodies to recharge and rejuvenate.
With a variety of scented oils for you to choose from, relaxing day spa music, smooth gliding massage techniques and rhythmical relaxing drum like motions along your muscles, I will make your cares and worries drift away.
Deep Tissue ($70 an hour)
Deep Tissue combines the smooth flowing style of swedish massage with deep strong techniques to focus on knotty muscle tension and relieve the strain of built up stress from your day to day life.
Cupping and Accupressure ($70 an hour)
Cupping refers to an ancient Chinese practice in which a cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup is reduced (by using change in heat or by suctioning out air), so that the skin and superficial muscle layer is drawn into and held in the cup.
It is completely painless, promoting circulation and the drawing of toxins out of the body. I use vacuum cups , placing the cups on specific sites of irritiabily and pain gliding them over areas to increase blood circulation to relieve pain and discomfort and have you feeling good as new and fighting fit.
Pregnancy Massage ($70 an hour, book 3 sessions $170)
Going through Pregnancy is a difficult time and can cause a women to feel stress not only mentally but physically. Using specially designed techniques pregnancy massage can help relieve the many physical strains on the body such as:
- Backaches
- Stiff neck
- Leg cramps
- Headaches
- Oedema
- Sore and swollen ankles and feet.
Also as the womens body changes and the hips are put under stress massage can help to keep your body posture in balance, help with flexibility and circulation to make for an easier experience throughout the whole pregnancy.
